  1. General CommentYou need to look no further than the title to trace the meaning. "Amused to Death" (the whole album actually) relates to Neil Postman's book "Amusing Ourselves to Death". Neil is big on how technology negatively affects the human race and especially public discourse.

  5. I like it a lot - good lyrics, nice melodies and some great songs (especially the closer). But as with Amused To Death I think it'd really benefit from Waters' new, more stripped down approach. The production is a bit over the top and I think it actually detracts from the album's intimacy.
