Alone in the Dark es un videojuego desarrollado por Infogrames en 1992 para PC. Fue precursor del género terror y supervivencia junto al videojuego Sweet Home desarrollado por Capcom en 1989, y cuyos mayores exponentes en un futuro serían Resident Evil de Capcom y Silent Hill de Konami.
