  1. Alice Ormsby-Gore died on 5 April 1995 after taking heroin which unwittingly was six times the fatal dose. Her body was discovered three days later at 10am on 8 April in her bedsit, with a belt in one hand and a syringe in another, a single needle mark in her arm.
