In August 2022, the series was renewed for its third season that adapted the fifth book in the Alex Rider series, Scorpia with production reportedly having begun in October 2022. In February 2024, the series was confirmed to end with the third season.
The third season of the spy thriller series based on Anthony Horowitz's books is in production in the UK and Malta. Otto Farrant returns as Alex Rider, a teenage spy who faces a personal mission to destroy Scorpia, a criminal network. New cast members include Sofia Helin, Shelley Conn and Kevin McNally.
