BFA majors include: ceramics, drawing, fibre, glass, jewellery + metals, media arts, painting, print media and sculpture. The BFA and BDes programs begin with First Year Studies - a common year-long experience that provides a critical foundation of technical and problem-solving skills.
This studio course explores concept-based modes of contemporary art production with an emphasis on digital media arts. Approaches may include: digital imaging, sound, video and animation. Prerequisites: ART 134 and DES 135, or ART 136 and DES 138, or consent of the Department.
