Zachary Knight Galifianakis (/ ˌ ɡ æ l ɪ f ə ˈ n æ k ɪ s /; born October 1, 1969) is an American comedian and actor. As an actor, he is best known for portraying Alan in The Hangover trilogy (2009–2013). He hosted the Funny or Die talk show Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis (2008–2018).
