Yoshitaka Amano (天野 喜孝 —anteriormente 天野 嘉孝—, Amano Yoshitaka?) (Shizuoka, 26 de marzo de 1952) es un artista, diseñador de personajes, de vestuario y teatro; ilustrador y escenografo japonés. Destacó por primera vez en los años 60 trabajando en la adaptación anime de Mach GoGoGo.

Yoshitaka Amano was born in 1952 in a small town at the foot of mount Fuji in Shizuoka, Japan. As a child, he reveled in making unbroken loops of drawings on the huge paper rolls that his brother brought home from his job at a paper factory.
