Wrongfully Accused is a 1998 satirical comedy film written, produced and directed by Pat Proft and starring Leslie Nielsen as a man who has been framed for murder and desperately attempts to expose the true culprits. The film is a parody of the 1993 film The Fugitive, and also parodies numerous other films.
Wrongfully Accused (titulada ¡Vaya un fugitivo! en España y Acusado sin razón en Hispanoamérica) es una película de 1998 dirigida, escrita y producida por Pat Proft. La trama se centra en Ryan Harrison ( Leslie Nielsen ), un violinista que es acusado de un asesinato cometido realmente por un manco, tuerto y cojo.
A violinist (Leslie Nielsen) is wrongfully accused of murder and escapes from prison. He tries to find the real killer and clear his name in this parody of thrillers.
Durante el traslado a la cárcel donde será ejecutado, la furgoneta resbala sobre una piel de plátano, y Ryan logra escapar. Se convierte así en un fugitivo que es perseguido sin tregua por un incansable sabueso, el teniente Fergus Falls. Lo malo es que Ryan sólo dispone de 80 minutos para resolver el crimen y demostrar su inocencia.
