Their ethereal song ‘When You Find Out Who You Are’ was chosen for Woodstock, perhaps because of the lyrics’ message, as the event was a protest celebration.

Robertson remained in Los Angeles, where he made several solo albums and created film soundtracks. The Band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. Barney Hoskyns.
