[1] Issued at the height of the band's popularity, it reached the top spot on the US album chart—the band's fourth consecutive album to do so—and peaked at number 2 on the UK album chart.

I have a Portugal pressed Wings at the Speed of Sound that has APPLE 8E O6497581 on the spine of the album cover. As far as I know, this is the only LP pressing that has an Apple marking for this album title. I'm not sure if this was the norm for the 1976 release or if only early pressings contained the Apple marking.
