William Lyon Mackenzie King (Kitchener, 1874 - Kingsmere, 1950) Político liberal canadiense que, en diferentes mandatos, fue primer ministro de Canadá durante 22 años. William Lyon Mackenzie King had a long political career. He was leader of the Liberal Party for 29 eventful years through the buoyant expansion of the 1920s, the depression of the 1930s, the shock of World War II, and then the post-war reconstruction, and for 21 of these years he was Canada’s prime minister.

19 de feb. de 2021 · William Lyon Mackenzie King was born on Dec. 17, 1874 in Berlin, Ontario, now known as Kitchener to parents John King and Isabel Grace Mackenzie. The grandson of William Lyon Mackenzie, whom he was also named after. His grandfather was the first mayor of Toronto, a member of the Legislative Assembly and a leader in the Rebellions of 1837.
