Biografía. Michael Brecker fue un gran saxofonista que está considerado como uno de los mejores instrumentistas de jazz de la historia , (con una exquisita técnica y desbordante sensibilidad) y que también destacó, brillantemente, como compositor. La afición por la música le vino de su padre, que era pianista.
Michael Leonard Brecker (March 29, 1949 – January 13, 2007) was an American jazz saxophonist and composer. He was awarded 15 Grammy Awards as a performer and composer, received an honorary doctorate from Berklee College of Music in 2004, and was inducted into the DownBeat Jazz Hall of Fame in 2007.
