After listening to those demos, the label decided that Stephen was not good enough and had to be fired. And since Gene and Paul the upstanding citizens they are, they fired Stephen.

Wicked Lester. I Wicked Lester sono stati un gruppo hard rock di New York formato nel 1970 con il nome di Rainbow. Della band facevano parte Gene Simmons e Paul Stanley, meglio noti per essere i membri storici nonché fondatori dei Kiss. Il gruppo infatti incarnerà quella che sarà poi in futuro la prima formazione dei Kiss, fondati nel 1973 .

No início o grupo era chamado Rainbow e era formado pelo baixista Gene Klein ( Gene Simmons) e pelo guitarrista Stanley Eisen ( Paul Stanley ). 15 de dic. de 2014 · ‘Wicked Lester’ had been working on recordings in early ’72, soon after in Feb. ‘Wicked Lester’ was picked up by Epic Records under the condition Coronel be replaced by Ron Leejack. Epic gave the band an advance to finish up the record which looks like this according to the Tape Reel Box.
