With the 60-year anniversary of The Who approaching, frontman Roger Daltrey has been reflecting on the continued popularity of the rock ‘n’ roll band. The Who’s Tommy, the landmark rock opera that opened on Broadway in 1993, will return for a new run in March 2024.

Even though it’s easy to hold up the best songwriters of all time as having little to no mistakes, there will always be those few songs where they feel like they could have done better.
26 de nov. de 2023 · In the early 1970s, The Who’s guitarist and primary songwriter Pete Townshend abandoned Life House, his rock opera follow-up to Tommy. Several songs from the project were ultimately released in the band’s masterpiece 1971 album Who’s Next, including ‘Baba O’Riley’, ‘Behind Blue Eyes’ and ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’.
