26 de dic. de 2006 · As far as I'm concerned, "White City" is far and away the best solo album ever recorded by Pete Townshend. The mesmerizing and down-in-the-mouth "Give Blood" opens the album with a vengeance. Despite the despair of the lyrics, Townshend ratchets things up to a major chord at the last minute--and it makes perfect sense.
