Whit Grant Fraser CC (born November 26, 1942) is a Canadian journalist, broadcaster, and author who, by virtue of his marriage to Mary Simon, is the 56th and current viceregal consort of Canada. Biography

OTTAWA, Ontario—Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, and Mr. Whit Fraser will undertake an official visit to Ontario from March 31 to April 1, 2022.
Whit Fraser C.C. is a journalist, author and storyteller, and vice-regal consort of Canadian Governor General Mary Simon. His first book, a memoir of his life and work in Arctic communities titled True North Rising, won the 2019 NorthWords Book Prize.
