Kelly Clarkson took a big swing at a Big 4 classic on her The Kelly Clarkson Show yesterday (May 6th), singing the hell out of Metallica 's "Sad but True" for a televised audience. The talk show host premiered her 'Tallica cover as part of the program's "Kellyoke" segment.
Hace 4 días · Her performance grows in intensity with the arrangement, her voice hitting its highest register for the chorus: “You know it’s sad but true!” It’s pure “Kellyoke” in that Clarkson doesn’t really affect her voice to sing the song; however, her backing band locks into the heavy groove and keeps things sufficiently metal for the many Metallica fans who will no doubt see this clip.
