Eric and Ernie is a 2011 British television drama film based on the early career of the British comic double-act Morecambe and Wise. [1] The film was produced by BBC Wales, completed in 2010, and premiered on BBC Two on 1 January 2011. [2] It was watched by 6.65 million viewers.

Eric Morecambe (John Eric Bartholomew; 14 May 1926 – 28 May 1984) and Ernie Wise (Ernest Wiseman; 27 November 1925 – 21 March 1999), known as Morecambe and Wise (and sometimes as Eric and Ernie), were an English comic double act, working in variety, radio, film and most successfully in television.
There was one consolation for Ernie: he met a girl called Doreen Blythe, one of the dancers. They’ve been Mr. and Mrs. Wise for years now. Later, Eric met a dancer called Joan Bartlett in a show in Edinburgh and she became his wife.
Eric, Ernie and Me is a 2017 television film based on the relationship between British television double-act Morecambe and Wise and their writer Eddie Braben. It starred Stephen Tompkinson as Eddie Braben, Mark Bonnar as Eric Morecambe and Neil Maskell as Ernie Wise. It was written by Neil Forsyth.
