Website. www .westlakegirls .school .nz. Westlake Girls High School is a state girls secondary school, located to the west of Lake Pupuke in Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand. The school was established in 1957 as a coeducational school, changing to girls only in 1962 when Westlake Boys High School opened.

Westlake Girls’ High School, situated on Auckland’s North Shore, is a large, multicultural, secondary school catering for girls from Year 9 to 13. Six percent of the school roll identify as Māori and most have northern iwi affiliations.
Westlake Girls is New Zealand's largest state secondary school for girls, with 2,200 students, recognised both nationally and internationally as a school with an outstanding level of achievement in academic studies, music and sports and the arts.
