22 de jun. de 2013 · From the Pete Sears, “Watchfire” album. Baba Olatunji and his African drummers joined me, Mickey Hart, and Jerry Garcia on this song, "One More Innocent". This is the song that "Starship" refused to put on "Knee Deep in the Hoopla" in 1985 because they felt the lyrics weren’t “commercial” enough… too much of a “bring down”.
Pete’s other release, Watchfire, in 1988, included Jerry Garcia, Mickey Hart, David Grisman, and Mimi Farina. Over the years, Pete has worked on many benefits with Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead including an early version of Ratdog, and in 2001 he formed his own band Dawn Patrol.
“Watchfire” featured many guests including Jerry Garcia, Mickey Hart, David Grisman, Mimi Farina and Kitty Beethoven and was originaly released as an LP on Redwood Records, then again on Grateful Dead Records. — with Mickey Hart, Jerry Garcia, Mimi Fariña, David Grisman and Holly Near.
