Wanted is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Boney Kapoor. It is a remake of the 2006 Telugu film Pokiri . The film stars Salman Khan in the lead role with Prakash Raj , Ayesha Takia , Vinod Khanna , Mahesh Manjrekar and Inder Kumar while Prabhu Deva, Govinda and Anil Kapoor make special appearances.
Wanted’s director, Prabhu Deva has always been an all-rounder in creating such movies. The story focuses on a local thug, whose killer aptitude led him into the eyes of a dangerous wanted don. Wanted is still one of the most remembered films of all time with Salman Khan being the lead actor in the movie.
