El vudú (del francés criollo voudou, a su vez, del ewé, fon y gun vodu ( espíritu )), también llamado vodún, vodón, vodoun, vodú, voudú, etc., es una religión originaria de África Occidental, donde actualmente sigue siendo practicada por miembros de las etnias ewé, kabye, adja, mina y fon de Togo, Benín, Ghana y Nigeria.
No debe confundirse con el vudú luisianés o/u hoodoo. Una bandera drapo con lentejuelas, que representa el símbolo vèvè del loa Loko Atison; estos símbolos juegan un papel importante en el ritual vudú. El vudú (o vodú) haitiano es una religión de la diáspora africana que se desarrolló en Haití entre los siglos XVI y XIX.
