20 de mar. de 2011 · You decided to ask Vic Unitt to join the band. Our manager and producer, Pete Jenner, floated the idea and it was agreed. Vic wasn’t playing with the Pretty Things at that time. We set him up for the gig with the Pretty Things a while after that, mainly because we had had enough of each other. In May 1971, your third album was released.

However, when the band began to lean towards the emerging psychedelic movement, dropping the 'Blues' from their name as well as their music, Victor Unitt left. In 1971, the band decided that existence as a power trio was limiting, and asked Victor Unitt, who had been playing meanwhile in The Pretty Things, to rejoin the band.
