Victor Harvey Briggs III (14 February 1945 – 30 June 2021) was a British blues and rock musician, best known as the lead guitarist with Eric Burdon and The Animals during the 1966–1968 period. Briggs, a convert to Sikhism, later played classical Indian and Hawaiian music, and adopted the name Antion Vikram Singh Meredith.
Following my interview with Brian Auger, I tried to contact Vic Briggs in order to get his side of the story about those early days that Jimi spent in London. I heard nothing for almost a year then in January 2011 Vic contacted me, with the intention of setting the record straight.

He was featured on three of the quintet's albums and four of their Top 40 singles, such as "San Franciscan Nights" and "Monterey".
