Band of Susans are one of those harder-rocking shoegaze bands that are very close to other alternative rock bands of their time. This isn't your chill, lazy shoegaze; the guitars are roaring, the vocals are shouted (although still buried in the mix), but it still has that ocean of distortion and noise that makes it shoegaze. Good stuff, yeah.
