- About
Uppingham School is a public school (English fee-charging boarding and day school for pupils 13-18) in Uppingham, Rutland, England, founded in 1584 by Robert Johnson, the Archdeacon of Leicester, who also established Oakham School.
Uppingham School does not offer extra private tuition outside of the curriculum, beyond the usual subject-specific support clinics and additional language tuition. Payment of Fees Fees are payable in advance on the last working day before the start of each term.
Uppingham School is a boarding school by philosophy, offering a liberal, holistic education to its full boarders. It is a popular choice for students who enjoy the social and academic challenges of a full boarding experience, and has a wide range of extra-curricular activities and clubs.
