Joshua Ryan Freese (born December 25, 1972) is an American drummer. A member of punk rock band the Vandals since 1989, Freese has also been a member of new wave band Devo since 1996 [1] and rock band Foo Fighters since 2023.

12 de jun. de 2023 · Speaking with Modern Drummer, Josh Freese remembered how his introduction to the drums came courtesy of a Yamaha Recording series kit, a "pretty extravagant first kit," which was gathering dust in his dad's attic.(Stan Freese had an endorsement deal with the company.) He asked his parents to haul it down for him, and they complied, with Stan giving his son his first lesson.
