Freedy was now ready for his slice of the pie, and, in 1990, delivered his full-length debut. The Trouble Tree failed to make much of an impact, unfortunately. At least in the States. In Europe, though, Johnston made more of an immediate impact. This forced Johnston to do something which turned out to be a boon for his career, as well as his art.
