La Universidad Chuo ( 中央大学, Chūō Daigaku , lit. universidad central ) , comúnmente conocida como Chuo ( 中央) o Chu-Dai ( 中大) , es una universidad de investigación insignia privada en Tokio, Japón . Fundada en 1885 como Igirisu Hōritsu Gakkō (la Facultad de Derecho inglesa), Chuo es una de las instituciones más antiguas y prestigiosas del país. [1] .
La universidad opera cuatro campus en Tokio: el más grande en Hachiōji (campus de Tama), uno en Bunkyō (campus de Korakuen) y otros dos en Shinjuku. (Campus Ichigaya e Ichigaya-Tamachi). Chuo está organizado en seis facultades , diez escuelas de posgrado y nueve institutos de investigación.
