Ultravox fue una banda de new wave inglesa surgida en 1976 [1] que con el paso del tiempo fue cambiando de estilos musicales (glam rock, proto-punk, synth pop, new romantic y música industrial), [2] hasta su separación definitiva en 1996.
Ultravox (earlier styled as Ultravox!) were a British new wave band, formed in London in April 1974 as Tiger Lily. Between 1980 and 1986, they scored seven Top Ten albums and seventeen Top 40 singles in the UK, the most successful of which was their 1981 hit "Vienna".

Ultravox fue una banda londinense de new wave creada en los años 70 por John Foxx, Steve Shears, Chris Cross, Warren Cann y Billy Currie. Con influencias de Roxy Music, David Bowie y Kraftwerk, se destacó por temas como "Hiroshima Mon Amour" y "Vienna". Conoció al cantante Midge Ure en 1980 y se relanzó con él en 1981. Conoció al productor Conrad Plank en 1982 y grabó varios álbumes con él.
