9 de sept. de 2022 · Bob was a friend of Jerry’s, but I met Bob before that, when I did an album with T-Bone Burnett. The album was successful. It was called Truth Decay. We did some concerts opening for the Who.

"Tracks Of My Tears"-Prisoner In Disguise: Linda Ronstadt (Asylum Records 1975) David Kemper was born in Chicago in 1947 or '48. His father was an engineer, and Kemper spent most of his youth in Ogden, UT. He learned drums at age 7, and never wanted to do anything else.
David Law Kemper (born 1947/8 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American rock drummer who was a member of the Jerry Garcia Band (1983–1994) and Bob Dylan's band (1996–2001). He was with the Jerry Garcia Band from 1983 until January 1994, when he was suddenly dismissed for reasons still unknown to him.
