First bought Truly Fine Citizen in the Woolworth cut- out bin around 1972. Liked it then and like it even ... or even Moby Grape '69. However it is Moby Grape and there is some great music on this release. For any Moby Grape fan, this is a worthwhile addition, but it's not going to blow you away. 2 people found this helpful. While Truly Fine Citizen won't make anyone forget the Grape's first two albums, 1967's Moby Grape and 1968's Wow, there is plenty of great songwriting and musicianship here. The album's real strength is its "human" element, meaning this is great music for the soul.
