Total Control is the first solo album by Europe guitarist John Norum. It was released after Norum left Europe following the release of 1986's The Final Countdown and the tour that followed. Para mí junto con “Face the Truth” es lo mejor que ha grabado en solitario John Norum, cuatro cuernos para este “Total Control”, 8.5 Jalfords. Un talento indiscutible el del sueco, técnica y buen gusto unidos en perfecta armonía. Let me love you.

Norum was upset with both the image and musical direction Europe was taking with The Final Countdown, so he walked away from the band at the height of their success to start his own group.
