Masters and Nicol re-formed the Hot Rods in 1984, with T.C. (Tony Cranney) bassplayer from the "Fish and Chips" album and new guitarist Warren Kennedy. This line-up recorded the single "Fought for You". Tony Cranney was later replaced By Russ Strutter for the live mini-LP One Story Town, before the band split again in 1985.

6 de jun. de 2016 · The Hot Rods line-up that recorded “Fish n Chips” was in fact a “new” Hot Rods, the band reverting back to a four piece, having lost bassist Paul Gray to The Damned, and parted company with the brilliant guitarist and songwriter Graeme Douglas. Gray is replaced by Tony Cranney. (T.C.)
