Tony Cahill (20 December 1941 – 13 August 2014) was an Australian drummer and bassist who is best known for being the second drummer for the Easybeats. Career. Cahill joined The Purple Hearts in 1966, when the Brisbane-based group relocated to Sydney. In 1967, he moved to England and played with Georgie Fame for a while.

Tony Cahill (b.December 20, 1941 South Camberwell, Melbourne, Australia - d.August 13, 2014 in Sydney, Australia) was an Australian drummer and bassist. In the 1960's he played drums with The Purple Hearts and later with The Easybeats. When The Easybeats broke up he taught himself the bass guitar.
