Ton Scherpenzeel (born 6 August 1952) is a Dutch keyboardist, composer, lyricist, and founding member of Dutch progressive rock band Kayak. Subsequent to Kayak, Scherpenzeel joined British progressive rock band Camel. He also played for several years with Dutch band Earth and Fire and released several solo albums.
Bio 1952-1990. Ton Scherpenzeel werd geboren op 6 augustus 1952 in Hilversum. Toen hij zeven jaar oud was, kreeg hij zijn eerste pianolessen, waardoor hij het notenschrift en een aardige basistechniek onder de knie kreeg.

Ton Scherpenzeel ( Hilversum, 6 augustus 1952) is een Nederlands toetsenist. Hij is vooral bekend als toetsenist en songwriter van de Nederlandse symfonische rockband Kayak . Loopbaan. Toen Scherpenzeel 16 jaar oud was begon hij contrabas en piano te studeren aan het Muzieklyceum van Hilversum.
