Thomas Richard "Tommy" Bolin ( 1 de agosto de 1951, Sioux City, Iowa - 4 de diciembre de 1976) fue un guitarrista estadounidense que colaboró en agrupaciones como Zephyr, The James Gang y Deep Purple . Thomas Richard Bolin (August 1, 1951 – December 4, 1976) was an American guitarist and songwriter who played with Zephyr (from 1969 to 1971), The James Gang (from 1973 to 1974), and Deep Purple (from 1975 to 1976), in addition to maintaining a notable career as a solo artist and session musician.
17 de nov. de 2020 · Tommy Bolin, gifted and with so much potential, died from a heroin overdose, at the age of just 25. Since his death, a sizeable cult following has developed, thanks in part of such organisations as the Deep Purple Appreciation Society and the Tommy Bolin Archives (the latter has released CDs of concert and demo recordings since the mid-90s).
