She worked with Elton John’s record company Rocket Records during that time. That collusion brought forth her album I’ve Got The Music In Me in 1974/5.

It was written by John with Bernie Taupin under the pseudonyms “Ann Orson” and “Carte Blanche,” respectively, and was intended as an homage to the Motown style, notably the various duets recorded by Marvin Gaye and singers such as Tammi Terrell and Kim Weston.
