2 de dic. de 2010 · Favorite Tiran Porter performance….On the Doobie’s song Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me a Little While) played live, when Michael McDonald would do the lead vocals, you can hear Tiran who is just playing these terrific jaw-dropping bass runs that are all over the place, and really made him stand out in a great way, that neither Willie Weeks nor Skylark could replicate that same spirit.

When I was 12 I was listening to Down In The Track (off their What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits album, 1974) through newly purchased headphones that brought the bass to life in a way that my little stereo speakers could not.
