Timothy James Arthur Wheeler (born 4 January 1977) is a singer, songwriter and musician from Northern Ireland. He is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the alternative rock band Ash . He has written nearly all of Ash's notable works, such as " Oh Yeah ", " Shining Light ", " Girl from Mars ", " Kung Fu ", and " Goldfinger ".

Ash are a Northern Irish rock band formed in Downpatrick, County Down in 1992 by vocalist and guitarist Tim Wheeler, bassist Mark Hamilton and drummer Rick McMurray. As a three-piece, they released mini-album Trailer in 1994 and full-length album 1977 in 1996.
