20 de nov. de 2018 · El primero en incorporarse a este proyecto naciente fue el bajista Tim Esau, quien también era dueño de un equipo de grabación. El segundo en unirse fue el baterista Mark Ridout, pero él dejó al poco tiempo el grupo para ser reemplazado por Paul Cook.
Historia. IQ se formó en Plymouth, en 1982, formada por el guitarrista Mike Holmes, el teclista Martin Orford, el bajista Tim Esau y el batería Paul Cook, en asociación a un vocalista poco conocido, junto al cual editaron su primer trabajo, publicado sólo en formato casete bajo el nombre de Seven Stories into Eight.

IQ has made better studio albums and live albums. For instance "Ever" can be considered a better album because is more balanced. In my humble opinion, a beginner must start by some of their best studio albums, for instance, "Subterranea" or "Dark Matter", which are, for me, two of the best progressive albums ever made.
