History. NRBQ began in late 1965 as a rehearsal band in the Shively, Kentucky, home of brothers Terry and Donn Adams, and they appeared on stage for the first time in 1966. As with so many of the NRBQ albums this one is a gem of stylistically innovative pop songs. Most of the tunes as usual were written by Terry Adams and Joey Spampinato.
