Heaven and Hell Records. Barry Graham Purkis, more commonly known as Thunderstick (born 7 December 1954), is an English drummer who wore various masks and used to perform on-stage closed in a cage. He was in the cult-band Samson, with whom his name is most associated.

New Wave Of British Heavy Metal drummer Barry Graham Purkis, his iconic masked alter-ego Thunderstick, and his eponymously named band are set to release a second single from their forthcoming album, Lockdown.
Years active: 1981-1988, 2016-present. Contact: thunderstickdrums@yahoo.co.uk. Named after their drummer. A second album, provisionally titled Don't Touch, I'll Scream, was recorded during the band's 80s run, but not released.
