Throwing Muses (4AD, 2003), which reunites Hersh with drummer Dave Narcizo, bassist Bernard Georges and Tanya Donnely (but only on backing vocals), is a poppier, more upbeat collection (Mercury). Kristin Hersh's first group project since Throwing Muses was 50 Foot Wave, a trio with bassist Bernard Georges and drummer Rob Ahlers.
Kristin Hersh. Martha Kristin Hersh (born August 7, 1966) is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter known for her solo work and with her rock bands Throwing Muses and 50FootWave. [1] She has released eleven solo albums. Her guitar work and composition style ranges from jaggedly dissonant to traditional folk.
Throwing Muses ist eine US-amerikanische Alternative-Rock-Band, die in den 1980er und 1990er Jahren mit einer Mischung aus Popmusik und Noise-Rock auf sich aufmerksam machte.
