湯瑪士·哈代，OM（Thomas Hardy，1840年6月2日—1928年1月11日），英國 作家，生於農村沒落貴族家庭。 生平 [ 編輯 ] 哈代於 英國 多爾切斯特 攻讀建築，及後於1862年前往 倫敦 ，並成為 倫敦國王學院 學生，學習 建築工程 ，同時從事 文學 、 哲學 和 神學 的研究。
