Randolph Peter Best ( né Scanland; born 24 November 1941) is an English musician who was the drummer for the Beatles from 1960 to 1962. He was dismissed immediately before the band achieved worldwide fame and is one of several people who have been referred to as a fifth Beatle .
Pete and the All-Stars would split from Lee Curtis and, after signing a record deal with Decca Records, be renamed The Pete Best Four. Pete would continue to perform and record music well into the next century. His shows are very entertaining. These days, he performs as The Pete Best Band. I would recommend attending one if you get the opportunity.
