Theatre of Tragedy fue una banda de metal gótico nacida en Stavanger ( Noruega ), originalmente creada en 1993 y más conocida por sus primeros álbumes los cuales impulsaron el metal gótico, cuya letra está en inglés antiguo del Renacimiento, en donde el grupo hizo uso del contraste de una voz grave masculina y una voz femenina de soprano.

Por lo mismo, he creado un mesurado top 5 pues se me escapan muchos temas increíbles que no están en la lista.
