THE TROGGS. The Troggs founder member and guitarist Chris Britton, pictured, has decided to take time out from the band for sabbatical, replaced by John W Doyle. When Reg Presley retired due to ill health in 2012, he gave the band his blessing to carry on with the 60's veteran Chris Allen taking over lead vocal duties.

The Troggs (tidigare kallad The Troglodytes) är en brittisk rockgrupp bildad i staden Andover i Hampshire i England 1964.Gruppen bestod ursprungligen av Reg Presley (egentligen Reginald Ball, sång), Chris Britton (gitarr), Pete Staples (basgitarr) och Ronnie Bond (Ronald Bullis) på trummor. Gruppen sägs med sitt råa och vilda sound ha haft stort inflytande på punkens sound.
