19 de abr. de 2024 · Estrenada en 2015 -mismo año que Avengers: Age of Ultron quien, para sorpresa de nadie, arrasó en taquilla- la cinta pasó discretamente por las salas de cine, con una recaudación que para nada la convierten en un éxito de Hollywood. Aún así, la cinta presenta un enfoque distinto al ya gastado tema de 'invasiones zombies'.

The Toxic Avenger is so much fun! Admittedly, I haven’t seen this film since the late 1980s. Loved it as a teen, but I never watched it as an adult. I figured it wouldn’t be as good as I remembered. The special effects would suck and it would just feel outdated. Man, was I wrong. The gore gags are great. The pacing is perfect.
