The Steve Howe Album is Yes guitarist Steve Howe 's second solo album. It was released in 1979. The album features Yes band members Alan White, Bill Bruford and Patrick Moraz. Also featured is Jethro Tull 's former drummer Clive Bunker on percussion on Cactus Boogie.

Howe employed various guest musicians, including past and present Yes bandmates Bill Bruford, Alan White and Patrick Moraz, plus members of Gryphon. The album reached No. 22 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 63 on the US Billboard 200. It was supported with promotional videos of "Ram" and "Beginnings".

During this time Moraz also played on Steve Howe's album Beginnings (1975) and Chris Squire's album Fish Out of Water (1975). Moraz travelled to Brazil and incorporated Brazilian rhythms and musicians on The Story of I , giving it a world music flavour.
The album also features some Yes' members, Alan White and Patrick Moraz, and the ex-Yes' member Bill Bruford, besides a large number of guest musicians invited by Steve Howe. "Beginnings" has nine tracks and all songs were written by Howe except the first track "Doors Of Sleep", which was written by Howe with lyrics by Alice Meynell.
